"Proud to be Gay"

Deze website is vanaf mei 2020 opgenomen in het archief van de Koninklijke Bibliotheek en het IHLIA LGBT Heritage Amsterdam voor de toekomstige generaties. Beide organisaties zijn van mening dat de website bijdraagt aan de historie van de Amsterdamse LGBT cultuur en geeft een representatief  beeld van geschiedenis en samenleving van de Gay & Lesbisch (LGBT) Capitool van Nederland. Vanaf 1994 tot heden heb ik vele foto's gemaakt van dit heerlijke evenement met feestende Lesbo's, Gay's, Drag Queens en gezellige passanten op de Zeedijk tijdens de Hartjesdagen & Canal Pride.

This website has been included in the archives of the Royal Library and the IHLIA LGBT Heritage Amsterdam for future generations since May 2020. Both organizations believe that the website contributes to the history of Amsterdam's LGBT culture and provides a representative picture of the history and society of the Gay & Lesbian (LGBT) Capitol of the Netherlands, where on April 1, 2001, the world's first gay marriage was performed by Mayor Job Cohen in the Stopera. The city where the annual Gay Pride has been organized since 1994 with various events for young and old, culminating in the Canal Pride, which is visited by hundreds of thousands of people every year. From 1994 to the present, I have taken many photos of this wonderful event with partying Lesbians, Gays, Drag Queens and friendly passers-by on the Zeedijk during the Hartjesdagen & Canal Pride.
